Golden Pearls (used for the vanilla 30 SP to weapon enchant) go for around 90g. Some total moron who cannot take half a second to double-check his auction misses a zero and puts up a pair at 9g each.
Of course someone buys them. Smart buyer, right? More like even bigger moron.
The seller made a careless mistake. The buyer, he willfully acted against his own profits. He sent a 162g, the difference between 2@90 and 2@9, to the seller and explained why.
The seller responded with a grateful, if poorly-typed letter.
And maybe that generic community that Larisa says we shouldn't call a community, maybe it got a little bit better.
Not just one Overton window

Hehe, were you the buyer? That sounds kinda sweet either way.
lol the buyer seems to be a loser...
they sell on your server for that much?? I had a few of those, ended up selling them for couple of gold after having them listed for a week with no success :/
Klep - your a softy at heart.
I just started laughing thinking of what gevlon would end up doing if he got the money in his mail...
No, the community became worse, since gold found his way to an idiot who will waste it on a Mammoth or bike.
It's very easy to make a mistake like that even if you aren't an idiot, sometimes aided by addons.
Just yesterday I sold a stack of 5 scrolls of enchant weapon - agility for 134g, which is what I intended to list *one* scroll for. I had just downloaded auctionator for buying stocks (holy crap why did I wait that long?), and decided I liked it's sell posting window to try as well. Well, if it messes me up like that again, it's back to qa3/auctioneer only. Happens I was in a hurry to list and log, so I wasn't quite as careful about checking as I normally would be. Only noticed when looking in beancounter the next day to see how many I had sold. Oops. About 500g down the drain there.
Shit happens.
Missing a zero is evidence that they will spend gold on something which they think is worth the gold and that will make the community worse? You reach strange conclusions, Gevlon.
