It's all in how you say it

Did you know that in Outland there are animate herbs, hostile creatures which wander around and have to be killed before you can gather them? Even the trees are not chopped down, but hunted. They are immune to nature magic, and so resist the attempts to druids to pacify them. Even shamans must resort the mage-like calls of fire and frost to damage them.

Sounds so much more impressive than: In BC herbalists can pick crap off some mobs.

I know this is about three year old content, but I only thought of it a few months ago when I was talking to a new player. I guess that's still old.

haha! I love those Bog lords and Bog giants :) Leveled my Herbalism to 350 just by herbing them actually :)

Technically though, they are considered Giants, just that Herbs grow on them :)

I think we need mobs in Outland/Northrend that can be Disenchanted, just to have another profession that can "skin" elementals.

I never liked the concept of Nature Damage, but that's for another time.

@LifeDeathSoul: I thought the boglords really were animate plants. I know there are giants which are merely covered, thought those were different.

@Dire Human: Maybe the mana 'elementals' would work for that.

Nature damage is a little odd, perhaps too generic; as been by wrath and lightning bolt doing the same type, despite almost certainly being different.

@Klepsacovic: Any damage type that encompasses poison (Serpent Sting), lightning (Chain Shock) and force (Wrath/Earth Shock) needs to be looked at. Also, Nature Immunity means I can't kill trees with lightning, which is weird.
