I'm regenerating 5HP per second and there's nothing you can do about it.

Rend has definitely come a long way! I remember on my first warrior I talented into improved rend because it was one of the few abilities I actually had at a low level... and my more experienced friend laughed at me. :P
Y'know, I think my brother said almost the exact same thing when he firt started playing WoW :)
